Sanitizing & deodorizingWhole-system duct and dryer vent check with before-and-after photos - you see exactly what came out of your vents
That "$99 whole-house special" is a bait ad - the real number appears once they are in your hallway, or the "clean" is a shop-vac at the register. We photograph the inside of your ducts before and after instead.
Meet the Austin Team Behind Linden Air Duct Austin
We’re a small crew by design. That’s how Marcus Veale has run things since he took over the Austin location, and it’s why you’ll recognize the same faces when we come back for a follow-up visit. Every technician on this page lives in the Austin area, knows the difference between Mueller and Crestview ductwork quirks, and has crawled through enough attics in July to understand exactly what your system is up against. No rotating cast. No strangers at your door.
Styles & brands we work with

Our People
Marcus Veale, Owner
Marcus has been running Linden Air Duct Austin since the location opened under the Threshold Group umbrella in 2004. He’s the one who answers the phone more often than not, and the one who set the rule that every single job gets a written price before a single vent cover comes off. Before air ducts, he spent years in residential HVAC service, which is where he learned that most homeowners don’t actually need a lecture, they need a straight answer about what’s in their ductwork and what it costs to fix. He’ll tell you himself: the best part of the job is pulling a wad of dryer lint out of a vent that hasn’t been touched since the Bush administration and watching the homeowner’s face. The worst part is the drive back from Round Rock on a Friday. He lives in North Austin with a dog that has never once shown interest in helping with a service call.
Dave R., Lead Technician
Dave has been with the Austin crew for over a decade, and there’s not a duct configuration in this city he hasn’t seen at least twice. He’s Rotobrush and Nikro certified on negative-pressure extraction systems, which means he’s the one running the big equipment when a system needs a full cleaning rather than a spot treatment. Dave is also our go-to for the weird jobs: the 1940s bungalow in Hyde Park with an original return chase, the Tarrytown house where someone sealed half the registers with spray foam. Outside work, Dave restores old tube radios, a hobby he describes as “duct cleaning for electronics, but the dust is even more depressing.”
Luis M., Senior Installer and Repair Specialist
Luis handles most of the air duct repair work that comes through the schedule, from collapsed flex runs in attics off Slaughter Lane to separated joints in 1970s ranch houses in Allandale. He’s the detail person on the crew, the one who photographs every repair before closing the access panel so homeowners can see exactly what was done. Before Linden, Luis spent eight years installing residential HVAC systems across Travis County, so he knows how a duct system should be assembled and how to tell when it wasn’t. He coaches youth soccer on weekends, and he’s been known to measure a register opening with a tape measure even when the measurements are already on the work order.
Priya S., Service Coordinator
Priya is the voice on the other end of the phone when you call to book a cleaning or ask what a reasonable quote looks like. She joined the team four years ago after managing scheduling for a plumbing outfit in Pflugerville, and she’s the reason appointments actually stay on schedule. Priya knows the neighborhoods, knows the traffic patterns between Cedar Park and East Austin, and will tell you honestly if the technician is probably going to need to park on the street. She also keeps the photo-badge and background-check process running for every hire, part of the Threshold Standard we follow on every job. She keeps a small cactus on her desk that Dave insists is the only living thing he’s never seen her forget to water.
One Standard, Every Job
The Threshold Standard isn’t a poster on the office wall. It’s the reason your technician’s name and photo arrive before the visit, and the reason they’ll hold up a photo ID badge at your door before stepping inside. Every person on this page is background-checked and identity-verified. Every job gets a written price before work starts. Every air duct repair carries a written guarantee, and if the repair doesn’t hold, we come back at no charge. That’s not Austin location policy. That’s the operating rule for every Linden Air Duct location in the Threshold Group family, and it’s been that way since 2004. Marcus puts it plainly: the standard is just doing what we said we’d do. The fact that it’s rare enough to need a name says more about the industry than it does about us.
